We own, operate and maintain the electricity transmission and distribution network in Tasmania. We deliver a safe, cost-effective and reliable electricity supply to more than 295,000 residential, commercial and industrial customers. We facilitate the transfer of electricity between Victoria and Tasmania via Basslink, the sub-sea electricity interconnector. We also provide telecommunications and technology services.

Band 3 Role – Salary from $90,000 + Super

The Connections Services Coordinator at TasNetworks is responsible for delivering market services and connections to customers while adhering to national rules and regulations.
Key responsibilities include managing escalated basic connections and alterations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing exceptional customer service.
The role requires a strong understanding of the National Electricity Market (NEM) processes and excellent communication skills. This position is a permanent position in a supportive work environment focused on safety and customer satisfaction.
In this role you will deliver market services and connections to TasNetworks customers while adhering to national rules and regulations and manage escalated basic connections and alterations.
Making sound decisions to address complex customer queries, you will contribute to effective customer and process issues resolution whilst maintaining a balance between business and customer needs
This role requires the ability to gain a comprehensive knowledge of processes to meet all compliance obligations, regulatory requirements and standards, NEM and ISO9001 accreditation.
You will also manage internal and external stakeholders and communicate with a varied audience with exceptional attention to detail.
About you
You will have excellent prioritisation, time management and decision making capabilities.
High level customer service and stakeholder management skills are crucial to this role, along with proven strong communication skills
You will have an understanding of the National Electricity Market, and demonstrate or have the ability to acquire an understanding of TasNetworks' policies, procedures and processes.
The successful candidate will have a Certificate III in Business Administration or equivalent experience.
