The Opportunity
You will play a key role in the management of TasWater technical standards and assist our Senior Engineers with a range of water investment
planning and engineering tasks.
This is a permanent full-time position that can be located in Hobart, Launceston or Devonport. Flexible start and finish times and hybrid work arrangements are available. The position attracts a total remuneration package of $93 - 103K per annum (including superannuation).
Key Accountabilities
- Coordinate the development, maintenance and approval of technical asset standards, drawings, operational manuals, and other asset management documentation.
- Develop and apply hydraulic models.
- Plan and conduct work with engineers and other specialists.
- Apply the operational risk framework, asset criticality framework and asset management techniques for determining asset criticality and risk profile for network assets.
- Develop geospatial, planning, analytical skills by working with engineers, scientists, data custodians, data analysts and managers, and become familiar with spatial dataset (including thematic mapping), hydraulic modelling and other relevant systems.
