The Opportunity
Our People, Culture and Safety Business Group works across the organisation to build a capable and engaged workforce that delivers an exceptional customer experience for the Tasmanian community.
The newly created position of Talent Acquisition and Pathways Manager will lead the professional execution of people experience services relating to talent acquisition, talent management, succession planning, career development and pathways. The delivery of these key services will ensure TasWater attracts the best people, retains top talent and delivers our employee promises.
This is a permanent position that can be located in Hobart, Launceston or Devonport, and may be performed on a full time, part time or job share basis. Hybrid work arrangements and flexible start and finish times are available. The position attracts a total remuneration package range of $134 - 170K per annum (including superannuation).
Key Accountabilities
- Provide leadership, guidance and supervision and effectively apply people management practices to uphold a positive working environment that reflects our vision, values and behaviours.
- Lead the delivery of all related talent acquisition programs and services.
- Develop a talent acquisition strategy with a 3-year outlook, including a talent pool, operational model and talent pipelines.
- Establish and implement an Employee Value Proposition (EVP) across TasWater.
- Reimagine and transform the candidate attraction approach, process and systems to support a positive candidate and employee onboarding experience.
- Contribute to workforce planning initiatives to ensure talent acquisition initiatives enable the desired workforce for today and the future.
Your Application
Your application must clearly demonstrate how you meet the selection
criteria in the Position Description, summarised as follows:
- Proven experience in the delivery of contemporary attraction and sourcing methods with a clear understanding of candidate assessment and selection options.
- Proven experience in managing a team to deliver high quality recruitment and selection advice and services in complex and/or medium to large size multi-faceted organisations.
- Ability to build productive relationships and to liaise, advise and negotiate effectively as a trusted advisor with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Advanced organisational and time management skills with a high degree of drive, initiative, outcome orientation and the capacity to manage multiple and often conflicting priorities.
