The Opportunity
Use your experience in inventory
and stock management to lead our North West stores team as our Senior Stores
Officer.
Support our essential service
operations teams by ensuring they have the right equipment for the right job in
a timely manner.
Whether you have previous plumbing experience or
extensive inventory and stock management experience, if you enjoy being part of
a team that is making a positive difference to the Tasmanian community, this
role is a great fit for you.
This is a permanent position
that is located in Forth.
Full time hours are offered with
flexible start & finish times available.
The position attracts a total remuneration package of $74 – 82k per annum (including superannuation).
Key Accountabilities
- Actively assist with the optimisation of inventory levels throughout the state and manage the associated systems, processes, delivery schedules and controls
- Maintain the inventory receiving and dispatch function process, ensuring goods are effectively and efficiently managed.
- Ensure that the processes and procedures for the loading and unloading of delivery vehicles and the use of materials handling equipment is in accordance with company safety, quality and environmental obligations
- Facilitate the handling and storage of hazardous goods and maintenance of MSDS register
- Foster a positive and productive relationship with internal and external stakeholders
