Water Services Operator
As a Water Services Operator at TasWater you’ll play a pivotal role in the daily operation and maintenance of our infrastructure on The West Coast. The successful candidate may be required to work at all locations on the West Coast including Queenstown Rosebery Strahan and Tullah.
Your contributions to daily planned maintenance, reactive works and emergency responses are essential to ensuring the delivery of safe drinking water & compliant management of sewerage, thereby making a significant impact on the wellbeing of our community.

- To be successful and safe in this position, you’ll need to pass a pre-employment medical assessment, as well as be prepared to have hepatitis injections to work in the sewer networks and plants, before you can start and you’ll need to commit to participating in on-call and planned overtime rosters, responding to emergency call-out situations.
- This permanent full-time role offers a 9-day fortnight and a total remuneration package ranging from $78,743.69 to $83,118.33 (including 15.5% superannuation). The package reflects an hourly rate starting at $34.10, with an increase to $36.00 following successful completion of probation. The candidate needs to be based in Zeehan
- On call, call out and additional team specific allowances are available.
