The Role
This role is for a 6-month secondment. The Planner Scheduler plays a critical role in supporting the effective delivery of TasWater’s planned maintenance program while also ensuring timely response to customer service deliverables. This role is responsible for coordinating maintenance activities across both planned and reactive environments, developing detailed job plans, and ensuring schedules support safe, efficient, and reliable service outcomes across our Operations teams:
In this role you will:
- Manage incoming work requests and allocate resources effectively to meet customer service commitments and response time targets.
- Review and manage preventative maintenance program requirements.
- Coordinate and validate work schedules with local area coordinators.
- Manage resources, workload requirements, and customer notifications for planned works.
- Analyse feedback and work order performance to support continuous improvement.

You will bring:
- Strong computer skills, including experience with asset information systems (Maximo preferred).
- Qualifications or demonstrated experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, or a related field.
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to engage effectively with diverse operational stakeholders.
- Technical knowledge relevant to maintenance planning and scheduling.
- A current C class driver’s licence.

The Details
This role is based in Hobart and attracts a salary of $110 708 inclusive of superannuation and leave loading.
This is a 6-month secondment.
