The Role
We are seeking a highly capable Financial Reporting Manager to lead the delivery of accurate, compliant, and timely financial reporting. This role is critical in maintaining financial integrity, ensuring strong governance, and supporting informed business decision-making across the organisation.
- Support the Head of Finance with the development of strategies and policies for finance accounting activities, tax, regulatory requirements and reporting.
- Maintain and continuously improve internal control frameworks to safeguard financial integrity and minimise risk.
- Provide high-quality accounting advice to senior leaders and stakeholders to support strategic and operational decision-making.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, systems, and reporting efficiency.
- Lead month-end, year-end, and financial year reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to reporting deadlines.

What we're looking for
We are looking for a technically strong, commercially minded, and people-focused finance leader who is passionate about financial integrity, continuous improvement, and using financial insights to support strategic decision-making. You will be a trusted advisor to the business, bringing deep accounting expertise, strong governance focus, and the ability to translate complex financial information into clear, practical guidance for stakeholders.
You will be a strong and experienced leader who is personable, approachable, and able to build trust and credibility across teams. You will have a proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams, creating a positive team culture, and supporting individuals to grow and succeed while delivering high-quality outcomes.
- Demonstrated 4 to 5 years experience in strong leadership capability and high-level experience leading teams.
- CPA/CA qualification
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline – Accounting, Business or Commerce
- Strong attention to detail combined with a big-picture, strategic mindset.
- The ability to provide strategic financial and accounting advice.
- Demonstrated experience in leading change, consulting project stakeholders and implementing new business improvement initiatives

The Details
This role can be based in either Hobart, Launceston, or Devonport and attracts a salary of $152,924 – $169,915 (inclusive of superannuation), negotiable dependent on experience.
