About the role
- Team Global Express is seeking a reliable and safety-focused MR Driver to join our Toowoomba depot, with an immediate start available.
- This is a Full-Time Permanent opportunity, working Monday to Friday with early morning (AM) starts.
- Overtime will be offered when applicable, providing opportunities to increase your earnings.
- Carry out bulk freight deliveries and pickups throughout Toowoomba and the surrounding regions, ensuring freight is transported safely and within required timeframes.
- Operate a Medium Rigid (MR) vehicle safely while maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach.
- Ensure goods and freight are delivered in good condition and to the correct destinations.
- Ensure loads are secured correctly using appropriate load-restraint equipment, including straps and chains where required.
- Maintain a strong safety-first approach, consistently following workplace health and safety (WHS) practices and procedures.
- Follow company policies and procedures, including reporting hazards, near misses, incidents and any safety concerns promptly.
- Complete delivery paperwork and other required documentation accurately.
- Conduct routine vehicle checks and report defects, maintenance issues or safety concerns as required.
- Keep the truck clean, presentable and in good working condition, while maintaining a tidy and organised yard and work area.
- Represent Team Global Express professionally when interacting with customers, colleagues and other site personnel.
What you'll bring
- You will hold a Current & Valid MR License or Higher
- You will be able to follow instructions and work autonomously
- You must have excellent punctuality and the ability to complete deliveries in a timely manner
- You must have Full Rights to work in Australia
- You must have a high attention towards Safety
