JOB DESCRIPTION
About the Role:
As a UX/UI Designer you will be solving high level business and customer
challenges. You will work with a variety of stakeholders including business SMEs, PMs, BAs, Architects, and technical development teams.
You will be creating amazing online customer experiences and designing from concept to high-fidelity user interfaces and interactions. You will support optimal user experiences for all web and mobile applications, and systems. Some of the other responsibilities include:
Sketching, designing, prototyping, discussing new ideas and concepts
Creating, iterating, and presenting designs, end-to-end user journeys and flows
Working closely with stakeholders, business SMEs, project managers, BAs, architects, and developers throughout the product lifecycle to create top class user experiences
Working closely with development teams (onshore and offshore) throughout the products lifecycle from concept to design, to handover and UAT, all the way to launch and ongoing maintenance
Maintaining consistency in product appearances, following design systems, and taking influence from best practices and first principles of design and user experience standards
Define user preferences, needs and behaviours across qualitative plus quantitative research or analysis
Developing a strong understanding of user behaviour by analysing app and website analytics
Good technical knowledge to understand what is and isn't possible
Most importantly, being passionate about design, technology, and self-improvement
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Interaction Design, Human Computer Interaction, or equivalent experience in related field
Desired Skills And Experience :
At least 6+ years of relevant global experience including at least 3+ years’ experience in solution design for digital and eCommerce solutions in a complex IT environment and/or business facing IT role
Strong design skills within interaction design
Proficient in use of Sketch (UI components), InVision (prototyping) and Adobe. JIRA and Confluence (project requirements and collaborating with team members). InVision Inspect (design handover for development) would be preferred
Excellent interpersonal, analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills
A strong portfolio that showcases your work, knowledge, and experience of working on large-scale data heavy UX projects
