Location: Albury | Full-Time Permanent | Monday to Friday (8:30am starts)
Team Global Express is seeking an MR Driver to commence immediately in Albury.
About the Role
- Deliver palletised freight to multiple shopping centres, private addresses and businesses
- Hand unloads or tailgate lifts or forklift at the point of delivery, including utilizing a Pallet Jack where necessary
- You will be required to drive Medium Rigids in this role
- Complete deliveries and pickups promptly and according to time frames
Key Responsibilities
- Must have a safety-first approach and demonstrate WHS practices and procedures consistently
- Follow and comply with company procedures, including hazard, near miss and incident reporting processes
- Restraining loads safely as well as the correct use of straps where required
- Keeping trucks in a clean and maintainable condition, whilst also keeping the yard and your personal work area tidy
- Must be able to complete your own vehicle pre-start checks
- Ensure freight is handled without damage
- Scan all freight. If you touch it, scan it
- Actively participate in all safety processes and procedures
- Always operate your vehicle in a safe and legal manner
Skills & Experience
- You must hold a current MR Licence
- Knowledge and experience utilising a tailgate
- You will be able to follow instructions and work autonomously
- You must have excellent punctuality and the ability to complete deliveries in a timely manner
- You must have full rights to work in Australia
- You must have a high attention towards safety
