About the role
We’re now seeking a Delivery Lead – Agile to join our Technology & Digital team on a permanent, full-time basis.
As a Delivery Lead, you’ll be responsible for leading the end-to-end delivery of digital products, platforms and technology initiatives that support Tennis Australia’s strategic objectives and enhance the experience of fans, players, partners and internal stakeholders.
Playing a key role in shaping how we deliver, you’ll partner with cross-functional squads to drive high-quality outcomes through modern Agile practices, strong delivery governance, and continuous improvement. You’ll help bring clarity, structure, and predictability to delivery while enabling teams to operate autonomously and at pace.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Leading the delivery of product roadmaps, ensuring work is prioritised, aligned and delivered with predictable cadence
- Managing demand, capacity, dependencies and risks to optimise delivery flow and outcomes across squads
- Facilitating Agile ceremonies (planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives) and embedding modern delivery practices (Agile, Kanban, DevOps)
- Partnering closely with Product, Engineering and stakeholders to align priorities and deliver customer-focused outcomes
- Driving continuous improvement through delivery metrics, identifying bottlenecks and uplift opportunities.
- Coordinating cross-functional teams, vendors and stakeholders to ensure clear ownership and accountability
About you
To be successful in this role you will:
- Bring proven experience as a Delivery Lead, Scrum Master, or Agile delivery professional in digital or technology environments.
- Have strong Agile delivery capability, including facilitating ceremonies, breaking work into releasable increments and driving a frequent-release mindset.
- Be skilled in stakeholder and delivery management, building trusted relationships and clearly communicating progress, risks and blockers.
- Demonstrate experience leading and coaching high-performing, cross-functional teams with a strong culture of continuous improvement.
- Excel at managing cross-team dependencies, ensuring alignment and predictable delivery across squads and value streams.
- Lead by example, modelling strong delivery practices and uplifting ways of working across the broader technology function.
- Use delivery and flow metrics (including DORA) to drive insights, optimise performance, and improve outcomes.
- Thrive in complex environments, influencing outcomes and balancing competing priorities.
What’s to love?
- Career development with a range of formal education and on the job training opportunities
- Tickets to the Australian Open plus Superbox tickets to events at Rod Laver & Melbourne Arena
- Monthly health & wellbeing activities with access to CorePlus Pilates
- Onsite gym, tennis facilities & free onsite car parking
- Salary packaging & a range of discounts from our sponsorship partners
- Attractive leave benefits - with up to 26 weeks of paid parental leave for all primary caregivers and Sorry Business and Ceremonial Leave for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander employees
- We are proud to be recognised as an employer of choice for women by WORK180
