About the role:
As our People team continues to grow and evolve, we’re excited to offer a unique opportunity for a forward-thinking Director of Organisational Development and Talent to join our team.
Reporting directly to the Chief of People and serving as a key member of our People Leadership Team, you will lead the strategic direction and execution of high-impact initiatives across:
Talent Acquisition – including employer branding and recruitment events
Organisational Development – encompassing performance, engagement, succession planning, and org design
Learning & Development – focused on leadership, compliance, and organisational capability
In this pivotal role, you’ll bring thought leadership, curiosity, and a deep understanding of culture to elevate the employee experience. You'll lead a talented team in delivering innovative programs that drive engagement, performance, and alignment with our strategic goals, particularly through the “moments that matter” in the employee lifecycle.
What You Bring:
You’re a strategic, data-savvy leader who thrives on creating environments where people can do their best work. You’ll have:
Deep expertise in end-to-end talent acquisition, talent management, and succession planning
Proven capability in adult learning, L&D strategy, and building organisational capability
Strong strategic thinking and change management expertise
The ability to use data and insight to identify trends, shape strategy, and influence outcomes
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
A current or willingness to obtain a Police Check and Working with Children Check
Flexibility in work hours or arrangements to support key Tennis Australia initiative
