About the role
The Business Operations Leadis responsible forcoordinating and improving the core administrative, operational and project functions across Tennis Queensland. This role provides balanced support across operational delivery, organisationalprojectsand business process improvement, enabling efficient and effective operations across the organisation.
In this role you will:
Lead and optimise day-to-day business operations across Tennis Queensland, ensuring efficient delivery of finance administration, procurement, office management, and core operational workflows.
Manage and support the Business Operations Coordinator while driving consistent,accurateandtimelyoperational outcomes across the organisation.
Partner closely with the GM Corporate Services and CEO to support organisational planning, cross-departmental initiatives, and continuous business process improvement.
Coordinate key organisational projects including budget development, financial reporting support, affiliation renewals, government acquittals, and major internal initiatives.
Act as a central operational liaison, providing responsive internal support,maintaininggovernance and operational documentation, and enabling effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
About you
To be successful in this role you willhave:
Demonstrated experience as a business operations professional coordinating administrative, governance and operational functions within a complex organisational environment.
Proven ability to exercise sound judgement and discretion, witha high levelof attention to detail and experience managing confidential information under competing priorities.
Highly developed stakeholder engagement capabilities, with confidence working collaboratively with senior leaders, executives andcrossfunctionalteams.
Strong analytical and coordination skills supporting budgeting, financial reporting, organisationalplanningand project delivery activities.
Disciplined and continuous improvement mindset, proactivelyidentifyingopportunities to enhance business processes, operationalefficiencyand organisational effectiveness.
Hold (or be willing to obtain) a currentPolice CheckandWorking with Children Check.
Preparedness to be flexiblein regard toworking hours and arrangements relating to work associated with TennisQLD.
