Your Role

Join a growing and highly respected cyber security practice where you'll combine deep offensive security expertise with strategic leadership, client advisory and business growth responsibilities.

As the Managing Consultant - Offensive Security, you'll lead a team of talented security specialists while working directly with senior stakeholders to solve complex security challenges. Beyond delivery leadership, you'll help shape the future direction of the practice through capability development, service innovation, market engagement and strategic growth initiatives. This is an opportunity for a consulting leader who wants greater influence, visibility and ownership while continuing to work on complex and high-impact cyber security engagements.

  • Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing offensive security consulting team, creating clear career pathways and supporting professional growth

  • Oversee the delivery of penetration testing, red teaming and other offensive security engagements, ensuring quality, consistency and client satisfaction

  • Partner with clients to understand security challenges, provide expert guidance and help improve their cyber resilience

  • Support business growth through pre-sales activities, solution design, scoping and commercial decision-making

  • Drive continuous improvement across the practice by enhancing methodologies, tools, knowledge sharing and specialist security capabilities.

Your Experience

On day one in this role, we'll expect you to bring the following skills, experience and behaviours:

  • Proven experience leading and mentoring technical consulting or cyber security teams

  • Deep expertise in offensive security, penetration testing, red teaming, or related cyber security disciplines

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business outcomes

  • Experience supporting client engagements, solution design, scoping, and pre-sales activities

  • A commitment to continuous learning, capability development and fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.

  • Relevant cyber security qualifications, certifications (such as OSCP, OSEP, OSWE, CRTO or GXPN), and leadership experience will be highly regarded
