Working from our Melbourne Office in the World Trade Centre on Wurundjeri land, you'll join our Corporate team, the central hub of Thales Australia, partnering closely with our Explosive Ordnance Systems (EOS) business to help deliver critical Defence outcomes across the country.
Our EOS team enables the Australian Defence Force through the storage, distribution, maintenance and disposal of explosive ordnance systems, providing end-to-end support that is essential to Australia's Defence capability.
As part of this mission, you'll play a key role in ensuring commercial certainty, managing complex contractual relationships and protecting the successful delivery of nationally significant programs.
Sitting at the intersection of operations, customers, subcontractors and corporate functions, you'll influence major commercial decisions, navigate complex risk environments and help drive outcomes that support both business performance and Defence readiness.
Your role purpose will be –
- Leading complex commercial negotiations, claims, variations and change activities across a strategic contract portfolio.
- Shaping commercial strategies that protect delivery performance and maximise value for customers and stakeholders.
- Providing trusted commercial leadership to program and operational teams, ensuring contractual obligations are translated into successful outcomes.
- Managing contract governance, reviews, compliance activities and key contractual change initiatives.
- Building commercial capability across the business through coaching, guidance and stakeholder engagement.
- Partnering with customers, subcontractors and internal leaders to navigate complexity and deliver mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Driving continuous improvement across contract management, governance and commercial processes.
