Set for a staged opening in the second half of 2023, Queen’s Wharf Brisbane will transform the CBD and river’s edge into Queensland’s newest entertainment and leisure destination.
Scores of restaurants, cafes and bars, the iconic Sky Deck 100 meters above the river with its 360 degree sweeping views and the open-air Leisure Deck sitting atop the podium and between all four towers will create new destinations for residents and visitors to enjoy.
The $3.6 billion Queen’s Wharf Brisbane development is being delivered by Destination Brisbane Consortium – a joint venture led by The Star Entertainment Group alongside its partners.
When complete, Queen’s Wharf Brisbane will deliver four new luxury hotels, more than 50 new food and beverage experiences, significant luxury retail, the restoration of nine heritage buildings and around 1,500 residential apartments.
It’s a foundation on which thousands of great careers will be built and now, we are looking for an experienced Surveillance Operators to join the pre-opening project team based in Brisbane.
About your new role:
Reporting to the Surveillance Operations Manager, we are seeking multiple Surveillance Operators to join our growing team at Treasury Brisbane. Playing a crucial role in the pre-opening of Queen’s Wharf, you will initially assist with the bump-in process where you will then transition to The Star Brisbane team.
You will work as part of a cohesive team who is responsible for providing an effective and efficient response to all safety and security communication needs for the property, striving to maintain a safe environment for our team members and guests.
If you are someone that is comfortable working across a 24/7 roster and has previous experience in a surveillance role or within gaming and holds a high level of personal integrity, the ability to work in an extremely restricted and confidential environment this could be the role for you!
Key responsibilities:
- Review CCTV footage monitor the complex to assist with the detection of undesirable activities
- Monitor and Report on all critical incidents across
- Monitor alarm systems and co-ordinate an appropriate response via communications systems
- Investigate and Report on activities that potentially pose a threat to our property, guests and team members
- Review CCTV footage to resolve all gaming inquiries and disputes
- Video record and document potential misconduct claims against staff and patrons
