Receptionist / Administration Assistant

The Star Entertainment has an exciting opportunity for a diligent Receptionist to govern the daily administrative operations of our reception desk here at Treasury Brisbane!

In this role, you will be the first point of contact for all call requests and guests arriving to our Corporate Brisbane office. Working on corporate hours Monday to Friday, the ideal candidate will be a person who can manage daily multiple priorities in a timely, efficient and professional manner.

This is a permanent full-time role based in our Brisbane location!

About your new role

  • Provide superior guest service to all visitors to the Corporate Office, ensuring you redirect all external stakeholders and team member messages in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensure visitors undertake building sign-in processes and coordinate building access requirements (i.e. Direct clients, visitors, contractors, employees).
  • Respond to all telephone calls and requests in a prompt and courteous manner.
  • Forward property emails to relevant department to resolve.
  • Manage technology systems and tools for scheduled meetings. This includes governing meeting rooms, calendars, and bookings via Microsoft Teams and Outlook.
  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing deliveries including items for couriers.
  • Administrative upkeep (i.e., Overall building reception cleanliness, stationary management).
  • Perform other ad-hoc compatible duties as required from time to time (i.e. The Star Referral Program for internal team members).

  • Strong receptionist/administrative experience
  • Excellent communication skills and positive demeanour
  • Advanced computer literacy and high organisational skills
  • Excellent ability to build rapport and stakeholder relationships
  • The ability to work independently in an autonomous environment
