In Australia there are two separate businesses: Toyota Motor Corporation Australia (TMCA) and Toyota Finance Australia (TFA). While we work closely together, TMCA focuses on vehicles and here at Toyota Finance Australia our priority is to provide finance, insurance and fleet management.
The role is based in St Leonards, NSW, however the team will be relocating to our brand new, state of the art office at Grosvenor Place in Sydney CBD in November.
What you'll contribute to
The objective of this role is to manage Toyota Fleet Managements’ (TFM) suite of Connected Mobility (CM) products by providing expert support to the Fleet Sales team/s, including the education, training, and successful onboarding and satisfaction of our customers. Additionally, you will be responsible for ongoing day-to-day operations and management of the products. The CM Product Specialist will possess deep technical proficiency of CM products, services, and processes, which will lead to ongoing product development, enhancements and portfolio growth.
How you'll make an impact
- Responsible for the growth of the CM product portfolio
- Ongoing management of development and enhancements of CM products and reporting capabilities through utilisation of market and business research
- Management of new and existing CM partners and suppliers, including monitoring and reporting on their performance in line with service level agreements
- Support and drive product growth and management within the function by:
- o Communicating and ensuring alignment to the value proposition of CM products and services
- o Being an SME in customer presentations and demonstrations, customer feasibility assessments, pricing, benefits realisation, implementation planning, customer set-up and support for CM services and products
- o Maintain training and sales collateral, and other artefacts, so that they are up to date
- o Management and facilitation of training for Sales and CM customers
- o Aid in the responses for tenders and customer proposals, as required
- o Customer Insights & Recommendations - provide detailed reviews, advanced reporting, and analysis of key data points to customers
- Regular provision of reporting for, and provision to, key stakeholders
- Management of CM products, services, and processes, including but not limited to, managing orders, processing invoices and payments, system integrity, data cleanliness and providing support to customers, internal sales team/s and other stakeholders0
- Tertiary degree / qualifications, or equivalent, in related field
- Prior working knowledge of fleet, rental and/or automotive industry.
- Understanding of MaaS and mobility products
- Strong sales and customer support, specialising in B2B customer engagement
- Strong understanding of the levers affecting product profitability
- Solid financial and analytical skills particularly in relation to product pricing
- Ability to work autonomously and with limited supervision
- Quantitative and business analysis skills
- Knowledge of business management principles and practices
- Demonstrated understanding of telemetry in asset (IoT and Connected Devices) (E)
