What you'll contribute to
As a National Training Manager, you will lead the development, implementation and delivery of sales and dealership training, as well as related material which supports the short-term, mid-term and annual business plans and overarching sales strategy of Dealer Distribution’s go-to market model. You will also assess the effectiveness of implemented training/initiatives through ongoing analysis for the purposes of measure its effectiveness.
How you'll make an impact
- Research, develop and own the dealer distribution training strategy and associated framework to deliver effective and efficient training, covering all TFA products to both regional sales teams and the dealer network
- Support with product launches through the development of fit for purpose training to stakeholders (internal and external)
- Develop strong working relationships with regional sales teams and key dealer distribution leaders/team/s
- Partner with regional training teams and be a point of escalation to review, evaluate and measure delivered training for effectiveness, currency, relevance and consistency
- Partake in ongoing professional development activities to maintain awareness of new and emerging industry trends and methodologies
- Build engagement within and between regional training teams, and coordinate regional events and projects to enable best practice sharing
- Lead the development and maintenance of the training content library
- Solicit ongoing feedback and input from key stakeholders, and together with the subject matter experts, develop training material that meets business needs
- Engage, energise and motivate team members, ensuring awareness of, and alignment to, TFA’s Corporate Hoshins, KPIs and related deliverables
- Demonstrated exposure to the Motor Industry with understanding of the regulatory requirements in relation to the sale of finance and insurance products
- Proven track record in managing small to medium sized teams
- Strong facilitation, coaching and training development experience
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, along with sound influencing and negotiation skills
- Ability to maintain high standards of accuracy and work under pressure to achieve deadlines
