What you'll contribute
Toyota Finance Australia (TFA) is seeking an experienced Enterprise QA Manager to lead our organisation‑wide Quality Assurance function, govern QA standards, and uplift quality engineering practices across our projects and BAU environment.
This is a critical leadership role responsible for ensuring delivery partners meet performance expectations, managing enterprise QA resources, and shaping the future of quality assurance at TFA.
How you'll make an impact
As the Enterprise QA Manager, you will:
- Lead and govern TFA's enterprise‑wide QA function, including vendor performance, QA standards, and delivery assurance.
- Own the QA governance framework and ensure consistent testing and quality practices across all project and BAU initiatives.
- Act as the first point of escalation for QA issues, providing enterprise‑level visibility of quality risks and ensuring timely issue resolution.
- Oversee enterprise QA resourcing, team allocation, capability uplift, and support for non‑Domain initiatives.
- Champion automation uplift and modern quality engineering approaches, ensuring alignment to best‑practice testing principles.
- Drive consistent enterprise reporting, insights, KPIs, performance analysis, and vendor accountability.
Your attributes
- Tertiary qualifications in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
- Certifications in QA/testing/project delivery (ISTQB, TMMi, PMI) highly desirable.
- 7+ years' experience in QA leadership roles within traditional project environments.
- Strong experience managing QA vendors, performance oversight, KPIs, and escalations.
- Deep understanding of QA governance, standards, and enterprise frameworks.
- Proven ability to oversee concurrent projects across BAU and transformation.
- Experience driving automation uplift (strategic-not hands‑on coding).
- Knowledge of JIRA, Azure DevOps, and test management tools.
- Exposure to AWS/Azure cloud platforms, modern application architectures, and integration patterns.
- Experience in regulated industries (financial services preferred).
- Advanced communication, influence, reporting, and analytical capabilities.
- Strong people leadership skills with experience in coaching, capability uplift, and team allocation.
- Ability to manage cross‑project quality risks, incidents, and escalations.
