Asset Management Representative, Scoresby VIC.
Our Customer Resolutions team are looking for their next Asset Management Representative to join their team.
This role is based in our Operations Centre in Caribbean Park, Scoresby.
What you'll contribute to
As an Asset Management Representative, you will play a key role in supporting TFA to manage the late-stage collections and recovery functions. This role is responsible for minimising financial loss to TFA, whilst meeting all of our legal and compliance obligations and providing our customers with high level of customer service. You will support customers across all of our retail brands.
How you'll make an impact
- Issue instructions to Mercantile Agents, manage their enquiries and take appropriate action to minimise TFA's exposure until the vehicle is repossessed or default remedied
- Manage all administrative tasks of the repossessions process in line with all regulatory and policy requirements
- Minimise losses on the insolvency portfolio and maximising recoveries on the loss recoveries portfolio by effective actioning of accounts
- Manage debt recovery within the pre-established policy and procedure guidelines to minimise financial losses to TFA
- Provide support to insurance companies and TFA Customers where a TFA asset has been damaged. Minimise adverse financial impacts to TFA whilst being the key organisational contact for all insurance companies in respect to damaged/lost TFA security
- Provide guidance and support to our customers via email and phone in relation to all repossession and debt recovery queries in line with regulatory and policy requirement

- Strong influencing and engagement skills to create sound business outcomes
- Mandatory experience in Asset Management
- Mandatory experience within Automotive Finance or a Financial Institution
- Ability to engage with external partners to provide a better customer resolution
- Strong ability to verify information and provide an acceptable response
- Exceptional verbal and written communication and negotiation skills
- Intermediate Excel and Word skills
- Legislative knowledge
