What you'll contribute to
An exciting opportunity for a Junior Planning Analyst to join our National Sales division until 31st December 2024. The National Sales Division is responsible for planning, coordination and execution of all national vehicle sales, fleet, integrated planning, and logistics activities to achieve vehicle sales volume, market share and profitability objectives.
The Planning Analyst is primarily responsible for maintaining National Planning reporting systems as well as accurate and timely data collection and reporting to support National Sales strategies and improve Supply Chain and Logistics operations.
This role is based in Port Melbourne with flexible work arrangements on offer.
How you'll make an impact
- Contribute to the implementation and maintenance of agreed National Planning processes and procedures to achieve Supply Chain and Logistics objectives. Ensure any changes to processes and procedures are accurately documented and communicated.
- Liaise with relevant stakeholders both external and internal and coordinate the gathering, summary, and analysis of vehicle sales information. Prepare and distribute reports that detail key results and findings including insights to support planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
- Effectively process, analyse, and report data to support the achievement of National Sales targets. Identify risks and opportunities to improve performance.
- Validate information to ensure that published sales data is correct and distributed to the relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain National Planning reporting systems to provide the business with accurate and timely information to support planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
- Coordinate the monthly vehicle order cycle via arranging regular key meetings to ensure all stakeholders have sufficient information to support planning activities.

- Degree qualification or equivalent experience.
- Experience in analytics and reporting including reporting on sales trends and forecasting.
- Microsoft Excel proficiency (e.g., VLOOKUPS & Pivot tables).
- Experience with SAP (desirable).
- Understanding of the automotive industry desirable.
