What you'll contribute to
As a Payroll Specialist you will be joining the People and Culture Division of Toyota based in Altona North. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the effective delivery of company payroll activities and for supporting managers and employees in relation to payroll matters in order to ensure optimal support to the business in achieving its objectives through its people.
This is a Permanent Full-time role based in Altona North.
How you'll make an impact
- Maintain, validate, and support all payroll activities including accurately processing of scheduled payroll and express payments, acting as the contact for the vendor (Ascender) in relation to payroll and systems operational activities and resolving any Workday/Preceda integration operational queries and issues.
- Reconcile and process all post payroll activities including superannuation, PAYG, payroll clearing account, GL, end of month reporting etc. In addition, supporting all other requests such as statutory requirement, labour cost reporting etc.
- Act as the contact for the HR Business Partner team in relation to payroll operational activities. Resolve any operational queries and issues and escalate non-standard operational matters to minimise risk.
- Monitor own tasks with respect to compliance with all relevant regulations and statutory requirements to minimise Toyota's risk exposure and liabilities.
- Assist in the development of payroll processes and procedures to ensure processes and procedures meet business objectives at optimal cost.

- Degree qualification or equivalent experience.
- A specialist with around 5 years accumulative experience.
- Strong analytical and excel skills.
- Track Record in successfully providing services and solutions to the business.
- Ability to analyse data and work well in a team environment or autonomously.
