What you'll contribute to
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Operations Project Specialist to join our Aftersales Division.
The Senior Operations Project Specialist is primarily responsible for developing, reviewing, evaluating and continuously improving warehousing and logistics systems and processes at Toyota Parts Centres nationally in order to ensure cost savings, increased productivity and a greater alignment of supplier ordering and service rate targets in line with the Long Term Business Plan.
This is a Max term role based in Altona North with flexible work arrangements.
How you'll make an impact
- Provides specialist advice on and assists managers in the development of policies and standards for transport and operations in order to improve warehousing and logistics performance.
- Coordinates, implements and monitors multi-phase Project activities to agreed milestones in order to improve warehousing capacities and logistics performance.
- Contributes to the design, implementation and continuous improvement of business systems, processes and controls (including IT) for all warehousing operations, to ensure they are in-line with warehousing best practice in performance and output. Implements new initiatives to support operational cost savings. Conducts training gap analysis.
