What you'll contribute to
The Aftersales Division is responsible for planning, coordination and execution of all national parts and accessories activities including sales, business development, procurement, supplier management, Dealer support and warehouse operations in order to achieve sales volume, market share, profitability objectives and optimise warehouse operations to global best standards.
The Senior Engagement and Communication Specialist is primarily responsible for creating, executing and managing communication strategies and employee engagement programs within the Operations team. The purpose of this role is to ensure a positive workplace culture by improving internal communications whilst enhancing employee engagement and belonging levels with respect to the company's vision, mission and goals.
This role is based in Altona North and is on a Max term basis.
How you'll make an impact
- Develop, Implement and review agreed effective communication strategies to promote clear and consistent flow of information and messages across the Operations team
- Design and execute strategy plans for employee engagement and belonging programs to increase morale, motivation, sense of belonging and a positive work environment
- Draft, review, and distribute communication materials such as internal emails, bulletins, newsletters, intranet content, reports, and speaking notes, ensuring clarity and alignment with company values.
- Advise and support managers in developing policies and standards for Toyota's Toyota Parts Centres engagement and communication strategies.
- Monitor and analyse performance against targets, recommending actions where necessary to ensure objectives are met, while staying informed about the latest communication trends and best practices.
- Maintain reporting systems to provide accurate and timely information, supporting planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations to minimise risk exposure.

- Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Human Resources, Marketing, or a related field
- 5 years of hands-on experience in communications or a similar role
- A flair for creating compelling and clear content that resonates
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Solid understanding of social media and communication tools
- An interest in warehouse operations (a bonus but not required!)
