What you'll contribute to
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Systems Program Specialist, to join our People & Culture division in a Max Term role until 31st March 2026.
The People & Culture Division is responsible for delivering Toyota's human resources, best practice advice, and learning and development services to both internal and external stakeholders. This encompasses Toyota employees, dealers, suppliers, vehicle importers, and the wider community, all with the goal of establishing Toyota as an exceptional employer of choice.
The Senior Systems Program Specialist is primarily responsible for overseeing the program stream within the Systems team, supporting the day-to-day management of projects, and serving as the main point of contact with the Information Systems Division to help achieve Toyota's internal People & Culture objectives.
This position is in Altona North, with flexible work arrangements available.
How you'll make an impact
- Lead and oversee key projects within the People & Culture division, ensuring they are delivered on time and aligned with strategic goals.
- Work closely with the Information Systems teams to support collaborative projects, aligning technical requirements with HR needs.
- Lead the implementation of AI and automation initiatives throughout HR processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Organize forums/meetings to ensure clear communication and understanding of systems goals and changes among all stakeholders.
- Maintain and support ongoing supplier relationships to optimize system deliverables for stakeholders.
- Monitor their own tasks to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and statutory requirements, minimizing Toyota's risk exposure and liabilities.

- Solid Project Management experience or a relevant qualification
- Proven experience in program or project management with a solid technical background, preferably in HR systems or IT projects related to HR
- Expertise in utilizing AI and automation tools to optimize HR operations and enhance employee experience
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including HR, IT, and senior management, to drive project success and achieve objectives
- Experience in stakeholder management, ensuring alignment and engagement throughout the entire project lifecycle
- Strategic thinker with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement in HR processes through technology
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into practical HR solutions
