What you'll contribute to
As the Junior IT Service Manager, you'll be the strategic force behind the reliability, scalability, and excellence of our Microsoft Azure and Salesforce ecosystems. This isn't just about keeping the lights on-it's about leading transformation, ensuring operational brilliance, and enabling future-ready digital capabilities.
Our leadership will define the core digital foundations of our organisation. With a sharp focus on performance, security, and continuous improvement, you'll work closely with architecture, delivery, security, and vendor partners to ensure platform excellence and alignment with business needs.
This two-year max-term role is based at Port Melbourne, placing you at the heart of our digital evolution.
How you'll make an impact
- Own the operational success of Azure-hosted environments and our Salesforce platform.
- Ensure that platform reliability, capacity, and performance exceed business expectations.
- Lead the BAU Salesforce and BAU Platform Engineering teams, aligning them with SLAs, KPIs, and security standards.
- Act as the go-to escalation point for platform-related incidents and challenges.
- Oversee mission-critical incident, problem, and change management processes.
- Define and track key operational KPIs, platform health metrics, and ongoing improvement initiatives.
- Report regularly to senior stakeholders, providing clear insights into platform performance and risk posture.

- Proven experience in IT operations, cloud platforms, or digital infrastructure leadership.
- Hands-on or strategic expertise managing Microsoft Azure environments or supporting Salesforce at a platform level.
- Strong ITIL-based service management experience (incident, problem, change management).
- Track record of successfully leading or managing vendor-supplied/third-party engineering teams.
- Deep understanding of cloud security, compliance frameworks, and access governance.
- Familiarity with industry-leading monitoring, alerting, and observability tools (New Relic, Sumologic, Azure Monitor, Splunk, Datadog).
- Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills
- A strategic thinker with the ability to execute with precision.
