What you'll contribute to
An exciting opportunity for a Senior Supply Chain Kaizen Coordinator to join our National Sales division in a max term role for 6 months.
The National Sales Division oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of all national vehicle sales, fleet, integrated planning, and logistics activities to achieve sales volume, market share, and profitability objectives.
The Senior Supply Chain Kaizen Coordinator is responsible for benchmarking Toyota's current supply and demand performance against global best practice and developing the plans and processes required to maintain industry‑leading supply chain efficiency, contributing to annual sales and profitability objectives.
This role is based at Port Melbourne with flexible work arrangements on offer.
How you'll make an impact
- Develop and implement agreed supply chain systems, processes, and procedures-aligned with Hoshin (strategic planning) and Kaizen (continuous improvement principles)-to support the achievement of National Sales objectives.
- Provide specialist support and advice in analysing the National Sales supply process, using automotive vehicle market insights to identify gaps against global best practice and competitor benchmarks and to recommend effective countermeasures and solutions.
- Act as the primary strategic contact for Supply Hoshin project business requirements relating to IT systems, recommending countermeasures to resolve complex issues, and coordinating and facilitating forums to ensure demand and supply kaizen plans, progress, and issues are clearly communicated to all stakeholders.
- Forecast the impact of New Vehicle Efficiency Standard (NVES) policy changes on Toyota's business objectives and provide recommendations to support future planning and business alignment. Develop and maintain reporting systems that deliver accurate and timely information to enable effective NVES strategy deployment, including planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
- Support biannual market and sales planning activities to achieve National Sales objectives, with a particular focus on advising how government regulations influence vehicle ordering decisions.

- Degree in Finance, Business, Commerce, or equivalent experience
- Experience in demand and supply planning functions, with strong capability in analysing complex data, forecasting, and developing reporting
- Demonstrated ability to manage and deliver projects successfully
- Strong understanding of the automotive industry and Dealer Network
- Intermediate Excel skills, with the ability to interpret, model, and present data effectively
