We currently have an opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join our growing Perth Team. This role is ideal for someone looking to move into the quantum claims/ expert witness space.
The role will encompass working on a variety of projects in the engineering and/or construction sectors. In order to be considered for this position, you will need to demonstrate the following skills and expertise:
- Relevant Bachelor degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering or equivalent
- 5 + years' post graduate experience in quantity surveying, contract administration, or cost claim roles
- Working towards or have achieved MRICS or AIQS status is beneficial but not necessary
- Experience in the preparation of / negotiation of contracts / subcontracts
- Experienced in contract administration including change management on projects
- Experienced in commercial management and interpretation of cost data
- Excellent analytical skills
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills
- Excellent communication skills including report writing
- Highly developed organisation and time management skills
- Experience in planning/scheduling is desirable
- Experience using P6 and/or MS Project is desirable
