As our business continues to grow, we have an exciting opportunity for an Associate Director with project planning and claims experience to join our growing Perth team. This role is ideal for someone with experience in a consulting or advisory environment, wanting to provide a full range of planning and scheduling services throughout the various phases of the construction lifecycle (i.e. planning, design, pre-contract, construction, commissioning and post-contract) across a variety of industries, such as:
- Building and Construction (Incl. Residential, Commercial, Health and Education);
- Infrastructure (Incl. Roads, Rail, Ports, Energy and Water);
- Mining and Resources (Incl. Oil and Gas); and
- Defence.
In order to be considered, you will need to demonstrate the following skills and expertise:
- Eight to 15 years' post graduate experience in providing a full range of project advisory disciplines (programming, scheduling, dispute resolution) across various phases of the construction lifecycle;
- Tertiary qualifications in Architecture, Construction Management and/or Engineering (Civil, Structural and/or Mechanical Engineering qualifications are considered preferable);
- Proficiency in a number of planning and scheduling softwares including Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project (proficiency in Asta PowerProject will also be considered);
- In depth knowledge of construction, standards and methodologies;
- A high level of skill and understanding of planning, scheduling, and programming principles;
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills and high attention to detail;
- The ability and confidence to manage client needs and expectations;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Contribute to the senior management team, responsible for technical delivery and employee engagement and development;
- Strong leadership skills and ability to manage and mentor junior employees;
- Business development, secure and deliver new business opportunities
