Lead Project Controller / Scheduler (Defence)

Tracey Brunstrom & Hammond Pty Ltd (TBH), a well-established Project Management consultancy, operating nationally and internationally, is seeking a Lead Project Controller / Scheduler to support the delivery of a wide range of projects across Defence, Space, and related sectors.

TBH is rapidly becoming a preferred supplier to the Defence Industry (incl. SEA, AIR, LAND, Joint, ICT and Facilities). We are looking for high-performing seniors with strong defence experience to join our growing business across several Australia offices.

As well as working on exciting defence and space projects we will provide you with a platform to grow your skills and knowledge in adjacent sectors and services.

The role:

In this role, you will be responsible for providing mature industry knowledge, technical and professional skills and support to specific projects. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to lead projects, establish client relationships, manage and develop junior employees, and support the growth of the business.

Due to security clearance requirements, this opportunity is open to Australian citizens only. The role is based in Perth, however, travelling may be required from time to time.

Desirable qualifications and experience:

• Relevant Bachelor’s degree such as Engineering, Project Management, Architecture, or Business desirable but not essential
• Defence experience
• Previous experience in project planning, scheduling and / or project controls
• Proficiency in project controls and / or scheduling software is desirable
• Experience with engaging with stakeholders of multiple levels

Responsibilities:

You will be supported by senior leaders to deliver our quality professional services.

Responsibilities will include:

• Deliver project management services including project controls and planning and scheduling in the defence sector
• Provide technical support to senior leaders and directors
• Project planning using Primavera P6 and MS Project
• Engage with clients and various stakeholders throughout the project
• Positively contribute to employee engagement and development
