About the Opportunity
With our digital team expanding we have a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic and experienced Senior Business Analyst with a strong background in software development and digital transformation to lead strategic initiatives that modernise and uplift our service offerings, core operations and client experiences
This role involves engaging and collaborating with subject matter experts (SMEs) across geographically distributed offices and at all organisational levels and working closely with our software engineers to design and deliver scalable solutions based on our digital roadmap.
As our Senior Business Analyst you will;
- Collaborate with cross-functional SMEs and senior leaders to gather, analyse, and clearly document business requirements.
- Develop comprehensive business requirements, user stories, process flows, own and update wireframe prototypes and functional specifications that guide development and implementation.
- Proactively scope new ideas for business improvement, assess feasibility, define scope, and contribute to shaping the vision for digital initiatives.
- Recommend fit-for-purpose applications and digital solutions that drive value, efficiency, and innovation across the enterprise.
- Act as a liaison between business and technical team to ensure the successful translation of business needs into technical specifications and working software.
- Contribute to backlog grooming, sprint planning, and testing in Agile delivery environment.
- Support business change readiness through communication, training needs assessment, and change impact analysis.
- Maintain rigorous documentation and support project governance standards to ensure transparency and alignment.
- Quantify and maintain up to date view of benefits delivered and ensure all capabilities deliver benefits as expected.
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role or as a Business Analyst, with a strong track record in digital transformation initiatives
- Ideally from a consulting background with a professional services firm and/or an in-house consulting team
- Experience conducting digital maturity assessments and recommending transformation pathways
- Proven experience documenting core solution objectives and requirements from stakeholders at multiple levels across diverse business units
- Demonstrated experience in solution scoping and application advisory
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and experience working directly with distributed development teams
- Proficiency in tools such as Jira, Microsoft Suite, Canva, Figma, Miro or equivalent
- Familiarity with Agile project delivery methodologies
