About the Opportunity
As our business continues to grow, we have a great opportunity for a Front-End Software Developer to join our Digital team in Melbourne.
In this role you’ll deliver on the design and implementation of user interfaces. You’ll play a key role in supporting the overall performance of the Digital team by building modern, intuitive, cutting-edge user interfaces (UX / UI).
As our Front-End Software Developer you will be responsible for:
· Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure user interfaces.
· Integrate front-end components with backend services, APIs, and data workflows.
· Implement automated testing and unit tests.
· Collaborate with relevant stakeholders including back-end developers and product managers.
· Ensure all solutions meet TBH’s high quality and security standards.
What you’ll bring
As our successful candidate you'll bring:
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a closely related field (or equivalent proven professional experience).
· 2+ years of professional experience in a front-end focused development role.
· Proven capability to design and implement scalable, maintainable, and accessible user interfaces from ideas and concepts.
· Ability to rapidly prototype high-quality UI components and interactive experiences for demos and proof-of-concepts.
· Expert-level front-end proficiency with deep expertise in React (hooks, state management, performance optimisation) and modern web technologies including JavaScript/TypeScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design.
· Expert-level Figma skills, including creating designs from concept and translating assets into production-ready implementations.
