About Great River City Light Rail
Western Sydney is one of Australia’s fastest-growing regions, with the Greater Parramatta population forecast to grow significantly over the coming decades. At Great River City Light Rail, we are helping shape connected communities by delivering safe, reliable and sustainable public transport solutions. The Light Rail network connects Westmead to Carlingford via the Parramatta CBD and Camellia across a 12-kilometre corridor, using modern low-floor light rail vehicles designed to deliver accessible, high-capacity and high-performance services. As the network continues to expand, we are seeking experienced rail professionals to help maximise fleet reliability, availability and operational performance.

Assisting with technical documentation, engineering change and configuration activities
Contributing to safe, efficient and compliant rolling stock maintenance practices
What you bring
You will hold tertiary or trade-based qualifications in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or a Rolling Stock-related discipline, together with demonstrated experience within rail vehicle maintenance, overhaul or manufacturing environments. Your experience may include light rail, passenger rail, metro or locomotive fleets.
Key strengths include:
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic capability across rolling stock systems
