Role Description

Transdev Train Managers support the business by providing a high standard of service to customers, by ensuring their safety and comfort, while answering enquiries and undertaking ticket and revenue collection functions.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Operation of carriage rail services, in accordance with authorised instructions applicable to Train Managers.

• Issuing of tickets and collection of revenue.

• Train operations- coupling trains and preparing them for service.

• Complete and submit reports and documentation in a timely manner.

• Effectively handle concerns raised by customers.

• Promote Transdev's services by demonstrating excellence in customer service.

• Work with the bus replacement providers in emergency situations and disruptions to services in a professional and efficient manner.

• Being safety conscious and proactive regarding safety issues.

• Hand operation of motor points will be required from time to time.
