About the role
Join Transgrid as a Works Coordinator and play a pivotal role in delivering the safe and reliable operation of Australia's critical energy infrastructure.
With opportunities available across Yass, Sydney, Wagga Wagga, Newcastle and Tamworth, you'll be at the centre of field operations.
What you’ll do
In this role, you'll play a key part in coordinating field operations and supporting the safe, efficient delivery of work across the transmission network by:

Coordinating resources and schedules to support field operations.

Prioritising and manage work to ensure efficient delivery outcomes.

Supporting frontline teams with planning and operational coordination.

Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and to a high standard.

Partnering with Field Managers to drive continuous improvement and network performance.
What you’ll bring
You are a highly organised, collaborative and enjoy working in a busy operational setting. With strong communication, stakeholder engagement and decision-making skills, you can effectively manage competing priorities while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. With a commitment to safety and a continuous improvement mindset, you take pride in delivering outcomes that make a real difference for customers and communities. Other requirements include:

Advanced Diploma qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.

Strong experience in electricity transmission operations and project delivery.

Sound knowledge of transmission networks and stakeholder requirements.

Experience using ERP and works management systems.

Strong planning, management and commercial acumen.

Experience applying risk management principles and practices.
