The Opportunity
Project EnergyConnect (PEC) will provide a new high voltage interconnector between New South Wales and South Australia. Transgrid’s portion of the project stretches 700 kilometres from Wagga Wagga to the South Australian border – making this one of Australia’s largest single transmission projects. The project is a critical part of Australia’s energy transition, supporting new large scale renewable generation and the implementation of the AEMO Integrated System Plan (ISP).
In this role you will be responsible for managing the timely flow of information between the Transgrid Delivery Team and the EPC Contractor.
Duties and Responsibilities
As the Document Controller for Project EnergyConnect you will:
- Manage document submissions, document distribution and review turn-arounds
- Check submissions for administration completeness
- Manage RFI and NCR/CAR registers
- Maintain Repositories for common documents such as meeting minutes
- Assist in the establishment of PEC’s Document and Communications Management Platform
- Assist with configuration of EPC Contractor’s integration
- Design, plan and implement forms and registers for various documentation types as required by the project
- Administer access to the Management Platform
- Manage competing project priorities and deadlines with skill and professionalism
Skills & Experience
- Demonstrated knowledge on document control procedures
- Solid document controlling experience on comparable projects
- Extensive experience working as part of a project delivery team
- Experience in setting up and administering online document and communications management platforms
- Excellent oral and written skills, superior communications skills with strong attention to detail and demonstrated ability to communicate complex ideas through clear and effective messaging
- Current driver’s licence
