Senior HSE Business Partner - Electrical Safety

The Opportunity

The Senior HSE Business Partner – Electrical Safety plays an important role in supporting the safety of workers by providing advice, assurance and continuous improvement in relation to electrical safety.

Your new role will see you coach, lead and mentor workers in relation to compliance with electrical safety policies and procedures. A key part of your role will see you assisting with investigation of non-compliance, electrical incidents and accidents relating to electrical work studying possible causes and providing remedial advice & recommendations.

You will provide input into the development, maintenance and review of regulations, standards and

policies relating to electrical safety.

As a Senior HSE Business Partner – Electrical Safety you will have:

  • Electrical Trade or Electrical Engineering Degree or equivalent experience
  • Previous or current experience performing High Voltage and Low Voltage Operating Work and Access Authority work
  • Previous experience performing transmission line work
  • Experience performing electrical testing
  • Experience writing High Voltage or Low Voltage isolation and earthing procedures
  • Current Drivers Licence
  • Knowledge of Electrical Safety Requirements in legislation, design standards and industry regulations
  • Extensive knowledge of the high voltage transmission industry
  • Audit and Assurance qualifications
  • Experience completing ICAM incident investigations and writing ICAM investigation reports
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and superior oral and written communication skills to provide specialist technical advice and reporting
  • Proven experience developing and leading safety system change to improve safety outcomes
