The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager and a Senior Project Manager to be part of an organisation dedicated to nation-building renewable energy projects that will provide on-demand energy and large-scale storage for many generations to come.

Both roles will be responsible for the project management function for our Infrastructure Delivery arm in accordance with policies and procedures and will ensure the project is developed and delivered successfully. The PM and SPM will ensure compliance with relevant financial requirements and optimise resource allocation and planning to meet and exceed service levels and affordability targets.

The roles will also support overall project assurance, establish, and provide advice, information and reports on project performance and develop effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

The Senior Project Manager will provide mentorship and guidance to the team and provide input to their performance and development plans. This includes developing and implementing training programs to impart skills/knowledge and driving a high-performance work culture,

About you

  • Tertiary qualifications at degree level in engineering or relevant discipline
    • Desirable requirements in Project Management qualifications at diploma or advanced diploma or degree level
  • High level business and commercial acumen
  • Highly collaborative and decisive behaviour style
  • High level ability to think outside the box and drive change.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Extensive experience in managing large capital High Voltage Substations and/or Transmission Lines projects.

Desirable

  • Experience in contract management and negotiation
  • Experience in directing field construction teams
  • Experience in negotiating project scope, cost, schedule and risk with customers
