The Opportunity

The IT Governance & Performance Analyst supports the Performance and Governance team's objectives by implementing effective governance practices within the IT Department. The role focuses on enhancing IT governance by implementing frameworks and ensuring adherence to processes. Additionally, it aids in collecting and presenting Key Performance Indicators for IT, effectively communicating progress towards goals.
We are seeking a candidate with a holistic mindset, who communicates collaboratively, encourages participation, and possesses strong influencing abilities. The ideal candidate should possess a comprehensive understanding of technology, which is essential for applying governance principles effectively.
Strong financial skills and stakeholder engagement, with a primary focus on IT-related matters and are crucial for this role.
About you
- Degree in IT, Business or other relevant qualification(s) or equivalent experience.
- 5 years’ experience in analyst role, with experience focusing on governance and/or KPI’s.
- A thorough understanding of technology operations and program delivery.
- Demonstrated experience in implementing COBIT, and ITIL frameworks, and knowledge of other standards and frameworks, e.g.: TOGAF, ISO 27001, ISO 9001.
- Exceptional analytical capability.
- Demonstrated experience analysing the “so what” of KPI’s, and effectively reporting.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, both internal and external stakeholders.
- Well-developed influencing skills.
- Familiarity with analytics tools e.g.: Power BI, Tableau.
- Ability to work in a complex matrix structure.
- Strong ability to work autonomously to deliver to a high standard – ‘self-starter’ attitude is essential.
- Highly proficient with modern technology, collaboration platforms and tools.
- Experience developing communications and collateral.
