About the Opportunity:
This role will have responsibility for the production and management of report requests at both an operational and strategic level which supports and enhances decision making. The insight from this analysis will be used to drive People & Culture investments and talent management decisions and assess HR program effectiveness. The position reports to the HR Systems and Reporting Lead.
The role of a HR Reporting Analyst includes but not limited to:
- Deliver routine and adhoc reporting outcomes including but not limited to; HR Operations, Business Performance, Leave Management, Performance Management, Talent Acquisition and Headcount.
- Produce specific management reporting with people data from HR systems including SAP
- Report results of statistical analyses in the form of graphs, charts, and tables
- Works as the key representative to the external benchmarks and key surveys supporting the HR function
- Train and educate others (both clients and team) on the methods and value of reporting
- Ensure SLA’s for operational reporting are met and continually improved.
What we’re looking for from you:
- Tertiary qualifications at degree level and relevant experience in systems, business intelligence or equivalent.
- Reporting experience including knowledge of process and data usage. Knowledge of standard metrics and key performance indicators
- Good operational experience or knowledge with HR processes and systems related to core hr, recruiting, learning, performance management and overall people data
- Knowledge of HR legislative framework, data privacy laws, information security and quality principles.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and pragmatically with a structured (yet flexible) approach to solve problems and find outcomes that truly provide value
- Experience presenting corporate reporting information using a range of presentation methods suitable for the consumption of senior management and Executive / Board level stakeholders.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with an ability to build relationships with a range of stakeholders and present publicly to a range of group sizes
- Demonstrated ability to work with and manage a range of stakeholder relationships as a business representative to define and document reporting requirements using a range of techniques and tools
- Advance Microsoft Excel is required
- Technical experience in Success Factors, SAP People Analytics is desirable
- Current Drivers Licence
