The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to be part of an organisation dedicated to nation-building renewable energy projects that will provide on-demand energy and large-scale storage for many generations to come.
In your new role, you will support the IT Leadership Team and functional teams in visualising a well-articulated Technology Strategy. You will assist IT teams in creating materials to implement and communicate these strategies ensuring that internal and external stakeholders clearly understand the targeted goals. You will also work closely with the Corporate Strategy Team and IT Business Partners to ensure the IT function thoroughly understands each business unit's strategy.
In this role, you will understand how the strategy aligns with the organisation’s objectives and then create a compelling narrative to illustrate the strategy.
The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a proven track record in guiding leaders and operational teams. They possess deep expertise in strategy frameworks and their practical applications. Additionally, they excel in developing business area strategies that align with enterprise goals and have advanced skills in creating impactful communication materials.
About you
- Tertiary qualifications in Technology, Business, Finance, or similar
- Demonstrated experience and/or ability to guide leaders and operational teams through the development of business area strategies that align with the enterprise strategy.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in an analytical role focusing on strategy
- Awareness of strategy frameworks and their application
- Advanced skills in development of materials that will support the communication and development of strategies i.e. visual collaboration, presentation applications/tools.
- Advanced communication, interpersonal and influencing skills with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A curious mind, eager to face into the new information, and synthesise.
- Demonstrated experience working collaboratively, embracing new ideas and being part of a team.
- Demonstrated experience preparing board and executive leadership papers.
- An ability to connect with senior stakeholders.
