The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to be part of an organisation dedicated to nation-building renewable energy projects that will provide on-demand energy and large-scale storage for many generations to come.
In this role, you will provide administrative and operational support to the Procurement Team, ensuring the efficient and seamless execution of procurement processes. You will facilitate effective communication and coordination with suppliers while managing the Procurement Team’s document structure and user access.
Your responsibilities will include assisting with monthly routine reporting, preparing key internal and external correspondence, and supporting the Chief Procurement Officer and Procurement Leadership Team with prioritising schedules and managing day-to-day activities.
The ideal candidate will have excellent time management skills, strong verbal and written communication abilities, and a proactive approach with a demonstrated capacity for initiative.
About you
- Previous or relevant experience as a group administrator or team assistant in a large organisation.
- Calendar management and prioritisation experience
- Familiarity with Office365 and a variety of document management systems.
- Demonstrated time-management skills.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with an ability to build rapport with a range of stakeholders and present information concisely.
- Demonstrated ability to be proactive and take initiative.
- Ideally some experience with the procurement of small to medium sized events and/or event coordination
