The Opportunity

This is a fantastic opportunity for a self-motivated, dynamic and experienced individual to join the LUMEA team as a Program Sponsor. LUMEA is a Transgrid Group brand focused on renewable energy solutions in the competitive energy market.

The Project Sponsor will be accountable the successful commercial delivery of a portfolio of projects across the Lumea business, via implementing sound project management and commercial principals while working harmoniously with Lumea’s internal delivery partner, who is undertaking the delivery work.

This role requires a strong Customer and stakeholder focus and will be required to influence and guide other phases of the project, including bid development and operations to achieve a competitive customer centric solution, aligned with Lumea’s strategic business goals.

This is an exciting time to join LUMEA as the demand for renewable energy is ramping up presenting a lot of opportunities for growth of the business.

About you

• Your ability to establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders is required.
• Tertiary qualifications in an appropriate discipline such as engineering or business.
• 5-10 years’ experience with infrastructure projects.
• Extensive proven experience and skills in directing and managing programs of large capital infrastructure projects, including the delivery and oversight of governance.
• Highly developed capability and proven experience in networking with multi-disciplinary matrixed teams
• Innovative way of thinking that will enable the promotion and motivation of new approaches for solving challenges for our teams and clients.
• Experience in delivering complex projects with high external visibility.
• Advanced interpersonal and negotiation skills (oral and written) to provide specialist technical and commercial advice during bid development.
• Strong presentation skills that can be adjusted to all levels of internal and external stakeholders.
• Demonstrated experience in negotiation and conflict management, with the ability to identify the root cause and work with stakeholders to resolve the issue.
