As our organisation continues to grow, we’re looking for a Senior People Advisor to join our People & Culture team based in Ultimo for 12-month fixed term contract. In this role, you'll be instrumental in delivering the People & Culture strategy, offering high-quality advice and support to leaders and employees across a wide range of people-related matters. Additionally, you will support cyclical programs such as performance and remuneration and call out grievance management or case management and be our business operations positive duty champions. You'll contribute to shaping and embedding best-practice HR policies, processes, and programs across the business.
About you
We’re looking for candidates who bring a strong mix of experience, capability, and people-first thinking. You’ll be well-positioned for success if you can demonstrate the following:

Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, Commerce, or a related discipline or equivalent experience in human resource management.

Solid knowledge of the Fair Work Act, Modern Awards, National Employment Standards, and experience interpreting Enterprise Agreements.

Proven leadership skills with the ability to coach, mentor, and influence stakeholders at all levels.

A strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service, with great attention to detail.

Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Experience in designing and implementing efficient HR processes, including process mapping and gathering business requirements.

Confident communicator with strong presentation skills and the ability to engage and influence key stakeholders, including executive leaders.

Capable of operating across a broad range of operational HR and business issues.

Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.

Solid skills in case management, project coordination, and record management.

Previous experience in infrastructure, energy, or construction industries will be highly regarded.
