About the Role
As the Contracts & Procurement Director for the Hunter Transmission Project, you will provide senior commercial leadership across upstream contracts, procurement and regulatory obligations. Reporting to the HTP Program Director, the role is responsible for overseeing the administration of the Delivery Contract, managing upstream claims and variations, ensuring compliance with Energy Infrastructure Investment (EII) requirements, and engaging closely with EnergyCo and other key stakeholders. Acting as a trusted senior escalation point, you will support disciplined contract management, optimise procurement outcomes, manage commercial and regulatory risk, and provide confidence in the delivery of value across the project lifecycle.
About You
- Demonstrated experience in commercial, contracts and procurement leadership within large-scale infrastructure or energy projects
- Strong capability in managing complex contracts, claims, variations and stakeholder interfaces
- Experience working within regulated environments and navigating governance and compliance requirements
- A collaborative leader who builds high-performing, inclusive teams and works effectively within matrixed environments
- Demonstrated experience applying specialist skills on major infrastructure projects with a stong preference for those exceeding $500m in value
- Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to provide considered advice and influence outcomes at senior levels.
