The Asset Management and Operations Program (AMOP) is a newly created program in response to the opportunity for better alignment and/or harmonisation of asset operations, maintenance and assurance across the Transurban group.
An exciting opportunity has become available for an Engineering Intern to partake in a 11 month internship placement and work on the AMOP Asset Risk Project within Partners and Strategic Operations (PSO) team through to the end of FY23 (30 June 2023).
The impact you'll have
- You'll assist with work across four working group squads for the AMOP Asset Risk project:
- BAU documentation Squad Support: Assisting with creating of underlying documentation to Support and Embed the Asset Risk solutions.
- FMECA Squad Support: Assisting with co-ordination of workshops and note taking for FMECA (Failure Mode Effects and Criticality Analysis) workshops for ~ 20 of Transurban's functional Systems across Mechanical, Electrical , Civil and ITS (eg Fire Suppression, Major Sign structures and Gantries, Plant Monitoring and Control systems, ITS Plant Monitoring and Control systems etc)
- Defects Squad Support: Assisting with writing of supporting documentation for Asset Risk views based on Defects / open Work Orders to address faults on our roads.
- Data Cleanse Squad: Assisting with the review/update of the underlying data required to support the Defects asset risk views.
The talent you'll bring
- Willingness to learn more about Asset Management systems and processes as they apply to Transurban roads
- A desire to assist, participate in and understand FMECA (Failure Mode Effects and Criticality Analysis) working with engineers and operations/maintenance team members to analyse asset failure modes and associated risks as they apply to key functional systems on our roads
- A desire to expand on the skills learned as part of your engineering degree
- Good communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to work as part of a great team, collaborating with many diverse teams involved in Asset Management at Transurban
