So, who are we?
For over 20 years, Transurban people have been building, maintaining, enhancing and operating roads that make a difference. Through tunnels and bridges, open roads and ingenious applications, we’ve connected communities across Australia as well as in North America. Transurban people are part of something bigger. Wherever you join, your work will make an impact. You’ll deliver successes you can be proud of, and then you’ll make them better.
We’re serious about gender diversity and have been recognised for our commitment. Some of our many successes include half of our Executive team being female, and being recognised as an Employer of Choice for Gender Equality (EOCGE) for the last 4 years. We have many initiatives in place to make sure we continue to progress towards gender equality including mentoring and leadership programs, as well as our annual pay equity review.
When our people are at their best, we’re at ours. That’s why we support everyone at Transurban to live their best lives at work and at home.
We make sure everyone can take advantage of flexible working arrangements when they need to. We work with our employees to make this transition easy; from setting you up to work from home, advanced video conferencing and compressed working weeks. It can also be a more formal arrangement such as job share, part-time hours and phased retirement, or offering different types of leave for all the situations that life throws at us, like parental, carer and lifestyle leave.
We offer a wide range of services, including nutrition and financial advice, flu vaccinations, skin checks and exercise challenges. We also make sure everyone has access to mental health services and emotional support.
Learning and Development
We take a rounded approach to development at Transurban. That means giving you the opportunities to develop in the way you want – as a technical expert, a people leader, or into an entirely different area. Whatever your goals, you’ll be given the tools you need to achieve them.
Your development will be in your hands, so how you choose to tap into our resources is up to you. You may want to build your network as you build your knowledge through internal sharing forums, or you may choose to take advantage of career development workshops or online learning tools. On top of these options, you’ll have personal development conversations and formal reviews with your manager.
Last but not least, we’ll support you to achieve any professional memberships or qualifications relevant to your role.
