At Transurban Queensland (TQ), we operate and maintain the 'Linkt' network, a $10B network of open road, tunnel and bridge assets spanning 81 kilometres across key transport corridors, critical to keeping Brisbane's traffic moving.
Our Facilities teams play an integral role in the success of Transurban. They are the key to ensuring the wheels keep moving, allowing our teams to function, collaborate and do what we do so efficiently and successfully.
Reporting to our Regional Facilities Manager and working closely with Executives and other senior leaders, you will be working in an agile and growing business and will be part of a global facilities team that is both dynamic, fast paced and future focused. In this critical role, you'll ensure the smooth running of our workplaces and a safe working environment for our people, whilst also identifying and delivering on a number of key business improvement initiatives, to drive the strategic Facilities Management outcomes in your region.
The impact you'll have:
- You'll lead the efficient and effective operations and presentation of the workplace environments our people work in each and every day
- You'll oversee the day to day 'business as usual' outcomes for the facilities management function across our QLD sites
- You'll work with the Facilities Capex Project team to help deliver projects across our QLD sites

- You'll manage security incidents when required
The talents you'll bring:
- You'll bring your demonstrated experience in a similar role within a corporate environment
- You'll have experience working across facilities operations, including external contractors, with a specific focus on service delivery, engineering and compliance obligations
- You'll lead by example and as a mentor for others. You don't say what you would do, you demonstrate how it is done and then influence those around you
- You enjoy dealing with a variety of stakeholders, both technical and non-technical, internal and external to achieve strong business outcomes
- You'll have the ability to prioritise, delegate and remain calm under pressure to ensure that all matters raised are closed out promptly, keeping your stakeholders up to date along the journey
- A natural problem solver and people person, you'll respectfully communicate well with vendors, colleagues and stakeholders - via email and on the phone, and you'll be able to maintain confidentiality as required
- You'll be tech savvy and analytical and you'll demonstrate confidence with our various systems
- You'll demonstrate excellent organisational skills, a warm, engaging personality, proactive nature and ability to anticipate issues before they arise
