About the role
As the Project Manager you will be responsible for the overall coordination and delivery of large transmission line and substation projects with UGL. In these key client-facing roles you will manage the full project lifecycle using best-practice methodology.
Key responsibilities of these roles include\:
- Working with the client to find solutions and executing the project in a safe, cost effective manner
- Leading the project team to accurately and efficiently deliver the project according to schedule, budget and scope
- Compiling and coordinating management plans, developing cost forecasts and overseeing quality control
- Foster a culture of inclusion, responsiveness, honesty and accountability
Your time will be split between UGL’s South Brisbane office and working on site.
About you
These roles will suit a commercially astute leader who has experience managing transmission line and substation projects. Skills, experience and qualifications that will see you succeed include\:
- Project management experience within transmission line and substation construction
- Experience in project cost estimations
- Ability to create and interpret budgets, financial statements and variance reports
- Ability to build a strong team and invest in their growth
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiating and diplomacy skills, and
- Highly effective written and oral communication skills
- Formal project management accreditation equivalent to the Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM), PMBOK, PMP or equivalent
